Firefox 3 beta 5 released - Download Squad
Mozilla has released yet another beta version of the next generation Firefox web browser. Firefox 3 beta 5 doesn’t have a ton of new features, but it fixes a lot of bugs and packs a bunch of under the hood tweaks that make the browser easier to use and more attractive.

Amazon Launches SMS Buying Service
The obvious application for the service is price comparisons from within a physical store; customers in Borders for example could SMS a book title to see whether Amazon stocks it for less. Expect to see people texting Amazon from a store near you in the coming months.
Opera Mini 4.1 released - Download Squad Opera has released Opera Mini 4.1, which is a minor update to its Opera Mini web browser for cellphones with Java virtual machines. For a minor update, Opera did manage to pack a few useful features into Opera Mini 4.1
Intel Makes a Push Into Pocket-Size Internet Devices - New York Times Intel is calling the new computers Mobile Internet Devices, or MIDs, and claims that it will have a significant advantage over makers of chips for cellphones because the Intel version will be highly compatible with the company’s laptop and desktop processors for which most Web software is written today.
