Facebook Chat Now Works For Everyone

All in all, Facebook chat is a great addition to the service. To paraphrase one of our commenters, Facebook chat maybe won’t replace your other chat applications, but it’ll do just fine for chatting with people who you usually don’t chat with.

It is pretty cool. I hope that it has a jabber back-end of some sort so I could connect with Adium. But I don’t see them supporting this, what they want is to pull users to the site.
